Students grumbling about the need to learn certain math topics when ‘a calculator can do it for me’, is not a new occurrence. There has long been discontent about learning topics that technology can do for us. Now, as the capabilities of technology continue to expand, where does that leave the education priorities in the UK?
The core subjects of the National Curriculum are still maths, English, and science, with art and design in the foundation section.
